The following gives you some useful information on what we have to offer on-site and in the surrounding area. Our aim is to help you have an enjoyable and trouble-free holiday, but should you have any problems please do not hesitate to contact one of the team who will be glad to assist.

The resort is spread over three buildings. When you arrive on Lower Gale you will see the sign for the Lakelands on the left.
If you are staying in apartments 1 through 8 you will find your apartments and parking here.
If you are staying in apartments A through to E continue along Lower Gale and you will find your parking spaces and apartments on the left in the next building.
If you are staying in apartments 9 through to 11 your parking and apartments are in the last building on Lower Gale in the left.
Namaste and Lingmell are located on the left just before the main reception sign.
Check In / Check Out
Check in time is 4pm and check out is 10am. We appreciate your co-operation in observing the 10am check out so that we can ensure that the apartment is fully serviced for the next guests. If you are departing outside office hours, please put your keys in the letterbox at reception.
If the apartment is found to be left in an unacceptable state on departure additional cleaning charges may be incurred.
Prior to departure it would be much appreciated if you could assist us with the following:
Leisure Centre
The Lakelands leisure centre offers unrivalled views of Ambleside and the fells beyond through our wall of energy efficient glass windows.
The changing rooms have had a makeover with a bold injection of colour, larger showers, and separate WCs with hand basins.
The leisure centre is only available to guests/owners occupying the timeshare apartments. We do not offer our facilities to non-residents and is only accessible with a key fob during opening hours.
The leisure facilities are open everyday from 7am until 9pm, except Saturday when the pool closes for cleaning at 10am until 1.30pm.
Lone bathing is only allowed during manned office hours Monday to Friday.
All guests using the pool must first register with reception and sign our *terms and conditions* before a key fob is given out for a £10.00 cash deposit.
Towels are available from reception for a £2.00 charge per towel.
Frequently Asked Questions
Unfortunately, BBQs are not allowed. However, there are local parks that do allow these. Check on the National Trust website or speak to Reception for an up-to-date list.
Please note that bike racks are available but used at your own risks we do not have any secure bike storage and you are not allowed to store the bikes inside the apartments.
Please note that we do not have the facilities to charge electric cars on site. There is a charge point on Low Fold car park in Ambleside or Booths supermarket in Windermere.
If you break anything during your stay, please contact reception to arrange for a replacement. Depending on the item a charge may be incurred.
7 Dishwasher tablets are provided in the apartment on arrival under the kitchen sink. However, you can purchase 4 additional tablets if required for £1.00.
Towels are changed on request on a Wednesday. You can request a towel change at reception.
For two week stays or longer a change of linen is included. Please arrange a suitable day at reception. Depending on your needs, you can also individually choose additional linen to ensure that your stay is as comfortable and pleasant as possible. This will be charged on request. The prices are as follows; Single bed £5.00ea King or Double Bed £7.50ea
Highchairs are available to hire for the week, just ask at Reception. Highchairs cost £5 per week
Travel cots are available to hire for the week (bedding excluded) for £10 per week. please ask at reception.
It is located downstairs between Brathay 6 and Brathay 8. £3 per wash and £3 per dry and is payable at Reception. Washing powder is available in the laundrette.
The laundrette is open from 10.00am till 5.00pm as there are apartments next door. Please collect the key from reception.
The lift is for use of those staying in Phase 3 only. Children using the lift should always be accompanied by an adult. A call out charge may apply if the lift is misused in anyway.
Only one space per apartment is allocated. Please park your car in the designated parking place for your apartment. Parking is available until 12pm on your day of departure, just let reception know.
We accept Cash, Visa, MasterCard, and Debit Cards. Unfortunately, we cannot accept AMEX
The Lakelands operates a strict no pet policy covering all resort property. Any guest found housing a pet in an apartment or car will be asked to vacate the apartment and will be charged an extra cleaning fee.
Apartments located in Phase 1 by reception use the bins located at the entrance to the car park. please adhere to the signage on the bins regarding recycling and general waste.
Apartments located in Phase 2 by the leisure centre use the bins located at the entrance to the car park by reception. please adhere to the signage on the bins regarding recycling and general waste.
Apartments in Phase 3 are to use the bins located at the end of the Atrium Carpark.
Toilet rolls are allocated 2 per bathroom. You can purchase additional toilet rolls at reception at 25p each.
